The beds at Mad Monkey were unbelievably comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud. The duvet blanket provided added an extra touch of coziness. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. We had a great time joining the bar crawl with some of the staff, who were loads of fun and knew how to party. The pool was a refreshing addition, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The bar at the hotel was great and had really cheap drinks, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially in assisting us with organizing activities. The private room we stayed in was spacious and of a high standard.
Some of the staff were not very friendly and seemed cold and unhelpful. They charged for water refills, which I think is ridiculous considering the price of the water bottles they sell.

Great location, close to the airport, train station, and bus station. Spacious common area with a pool and sun deck, perfect for socializing and meeting new people. The beds were extremely comfortable with fluffy duvets. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast buffet was overpriced for a hostel. There were intimidating dogs near the hostel, which need to be addressed for the safety of guests.

the location was perfect, just a short walk from the lively bars and delicious restaurants. the staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. the room was clean and comfortable, with cozy beds and fluffy towels. the hostel even had a great swimming pool where I could relax and cool off. a fantastic place to stay.
The breakfast could use some improvement, as it lacked variety and options.

We had an amazing stay at Mad Monkey! the private room had the most comfortable bed we've had during our 5 weeks in Thailand. the room was spotlessly clean and the towels provided were of great quality. the location of the hostel was also excellent, making it easy for us to explore the area. We also enjoyed the facilities, including the decent, sized pool and the gym. the on, site restaurant offered high, quality and reasonably priced meals, and the happy hour was a great value. the staff were extremely helpful and provided us with a ton of tour information. Mad Monkey is a fantastic and great value hostel that we highly recommend. Cons: Absolutely nothing 😊.

The pool at this hotel was a great feature, perfect for cooling off on a hot day. Plus, there was a volleyball net set up, which made it easy to meet new people and have a fun game. the staff was also very friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. the location was ideal, just a short distance from the lively night bazaar and other attractions, making it easy to explore the area.
That the pool didn't seem to be cleaned often enough, which was a bit off-putting. there were times when it got quite loud at night, which could be disruptive for those trying to sleep peacefully.
